Listening to chain

If you swing your left knee outward, you can hear the chain noise reflecting off your leg. The amplification effect of this reflection is dramatic. If the chain is too loose and/or lacking lubricant, it will make a racket when you accelerate. So every time you ride, you can keep tabs on the chain.

Good advice, I'm going to try that. I especially hear it when I'm lane splitting thru cars you can dramatically hear that thing bouncing around a bit
