Hi from South Africa

Hi guys, my first post here. Just got my 2017 z650 3 weeks ago and what a bike it is! I sold my 2017 Ducati scrambler urban Enduro with just 800kms on it to buy the z650 and I couldn't be happier. Bike is stock for now, mods in the near future include a tail tidy and bar end mirrors.
Thanks to tremonte for his reviews on this bike, convinced me to get it!?

Looks like you've already gone on a few adventures with the Z650. Congrats on the new bike and I can't wait to see more from you. Perhaps a road trip?

Glad to have a new member on the forum.
Are you planning to do servicing on your own or take it to a dealer?

First service I will do on my own. I will see how it goes after that, dealer is 50km out of my way so I will have to trailer the bike to them or pay them to pick the bike up.

Great! Hopefully you plan on posting details about that first service since there are other members here that would find value in it.

Slick looking Z650, so slick that you might find that liter riders will try to challenge you thinking you might be packing enough muscle in that machine. Always loved how these Kawi's look in black.

Thanks Roadhawk. I am kind of going for the all blackout look. I have a Givi windshield on order and planning to add bright red reflected rim tape. Will post another picture once that is done. Would like to add Yoshimira muffler kit and fuel commander sometime. My wife would make me live in the garage if I spent that kind of money right now. Ya Ya I know, I can hear all those guys out there saying "Get your balls out of her purse". But I love my wife, and like being married.

Some bikes don't look good blacked out, but the z650 is pulling it off spectacularly.
