Cool Greetings from Burlington, ON, and FRANCE !!!

Hey Gang !!!

I'm registering for this forum from my hotel in Paris, while on my honeymoon My wife and I have been in Italy and France the last couple weeks, and for those of you who have been to Europe, its a BIKE WORLD here, and it makes me miss my Z650 back home.

I'm a new rider, who bought this bike back in March 2017, and took delivery of a Stardust White back in May. Got a few mods done:

Akrapovic Exhaust system
M2S Shorty levers
OES Frame sliders
OES Fork sliders
OES Swing arm spools
Vagabond Motorsports fender eliminator
Front fork reflector delete
Rear pegs removed
All decals removed (except KAWA on tank)

Few more planned, maybe Rizoma Mirrors, bar end mirrors, maybe go to a Yoshi fender eliminator (VBM is a bit bulky), and maybe swap out the Akra for a SC project. What I really want is a **** INTEGRATED TAILIGHT.

Anyways, I'm a bit of a lone wolf when it comes to riding. No time for those idiots on group rides that take over the 400 highways in Ontario a couple months back. But I have considered expanding my rides to include some like minded individuals, who have a strong sense of self-preservation.

That does not mean I ride slow !!! My riding style reflects the fact that I utilize all road space as soon as its available. Its a great combo of having a Z650 (which is a traffic jam killer), and a riding style that could be classified "efficient".

Anyways, looking forward to making new connections, and maybe get out riding with some of you folks in the GTA.

Cheers

Hey! Welcome to the forum. Great to see another Z650 around the area.

Looks like you have some tasteful mods there. I would love to hear that Akrapovic one day.

Nice Mods Tech30six. Bar end mirrors are a must. Much better vision and makes the bike look SOOOO much sleeker.

Thanks LE,

Nice seeing you hear too. I find Z650 owners to be a rare find. I actually haven't seen any on the road this year.

The Akra is great, but need pull the db killer out. If I have one gripe, its the pitch is a bit higher than i'd like. It does have a nice bark when you rev match your down shifts.

Cheers

I've never come across another Z650 on the road but I did meet another forum member from here.
I've been to a couple social meets in the Toronto area and I have never seen another Z650 either. They are rare.

If you decide to ride in the GTA, shoot me a PM.

Nothing wrong be being rare, just makes your bike all the more unique when parked beside a line of other bikes.
