Z900 lives in a garage in LA, has a clean title, owned by original owner, 2017 ABS, 12,000 miles and adding as I commute, r&g frame sliders and swing-arm spools, genuine Kawasaki rad cover, tall screen and comfort seat, fender eliminator, amazon mzs short levers and amazon black heel cover for stock rear sets, break-in service completed by dealership where purchased, and inspected by dealership at regular intervals with oil/filter changes completed by owner, k&n/mobil full synthetic, Bridgestone BT-31 front and rear installed around 9,000 miles (tires are a night and day improvement).

I'm looking for a Z650 that has low miles and is similarly tastefully modded, at least with fender eliminator, sliders/spools, and comfort seat. I love the Z900 and will miss the power/stability on the freeways, but I commute in DTLA and play in canyons on weekends, both of which favor a lighter bike. I'll try to post a picture in the coming days

Sorry I can't do this trade with you not having a clear title, but you certainly piqued my Interest as I am speaking to my dealer about trading up to the Z900 anything I should know about the Z900 that I may not like? does it ride harder? is it comfortable on long rides? thanks...

I knew that bike makers were doing something right when they pushed hard in this segment. You are one of may owners of bigger CC bikes that I have seen venture to this market.

Do you plan on getting a bigger CC bike again in the near future?

taking my Z900 off the market, mods you can delete this thread if you like or keep for posterity. Her charms are slowly starting to reveal themselves and with only marginal increase in cost, I think it's worth it to keep riding the big zed, at least for my needs/wants.

I like the z900, you should have no problem in commuting and in the canyon. I like the z650, cheaper, lighter, smaller and enough power for my purpose.
