This piece was pinched between two pieces of metal and my headlight stopped working. What could have possibly happened? How can I fix this mishap and do we have a fuse for the headlight?

Yes, there is a fuse for the headlight, on the left side of the tank, under the side panel. After solving the issue, just re-route the wiring to prevent it from happening again.
