Bar Mods to Help with Vibration?

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has tried using heavier bar ends or tried putting lead shot or BBs in your bars to help dissipate vibration? Both have been suggested to me in other forums but I thought I'd check to see if these options have already been tried by some of you?

Thanks.

Cant say I've noticed any vibration through the bars, some through the seat at certain revs,I Have "grip puppies" fitted so maaybe that helps. As for lead shot I filled the bars on my VFR 800 vtech with the it which used to vibrate so bad my hands used to go numb, but the shot didn't help.
Thanks, I might give those a try.
I have some Progrip 719 grips on and some HVMP heavy bar ends sitting on my desk waiting on install. I'll post more about the bar ends when I get them on after a few miles. I also have some grip puppy like covers, but took them off for the grip swap.
An alternative solution I used on a Suzi DR-Z400 Supermoto was the speaker cable mod. You take sheathed Speaker cable wire (not bare copper) and cut several pieces the length of the handlebar less a couple inches for any bar end or mirror. You coat them with grease (I used waterproof Bel-Ray) and insert them as one through the handle bar.

You don't want to have so many strands of cable that you're stuffing the bar with them. The idea is that they need to move and bounce around as they take the vibrational energy transmitted through the handlebar clamp that they can shake it off like Taylor Swift inside the bar reducing the amount of vibes going to the grips. So the energy of the bike's vibes is used up by making strands of coated copper flop around. The grease will keep the strands of cable from sticking together over time plus make them easy to remove later. (Besides, using grease for your best girl is common courtesy.)

I hated adding weight to the bike (especially high and forward on the bike), but it helped considerably with the vibes of a 400cc Single being wound up at highway speeds. I am not a Z650 owner yet (this is my first post!), but since the bike has a handlebar and not clip-ons, speaker wire is an option.

Hi Fisher, how are the Pro Grips? Did you get a chance to install them? I'm looking into them myself and was curious to see if someone had any experience with the product. Do they ease out the vibes?
The Progrips are okay. I like the grippiness of them, but they're already showing signs of wear. Apparently they're not very durable, and will need to be replaced sooner than I'd hoped.

As far as reducing vibration, I can't really tell that they do much for that.

I still don't have the HVMP bar ends on yet, but I'm pretty sure they'll help. I bought new internal bar weights to go with them too.
