Has anyone upgraded their brake pads yet? I seem to only be able to find Galfer rear pads. The stock front brakes are decent but, I would love something with stronger initial bite.

Upgrading the brake lines will give you more firm and even pressure for a better feel and increased stopping power. The Z has pretty spongey feedback. Braided lines are on my to-do list. For pads, I usually get EBC. They should be available for the Z650, but you might have to call for a cross reference.

Havent' started my personal search yet, but Motosport.com is a pretty solid place for upgrade components.
