600 miles, just ride it normally, don't over-rev it (over 5000 rpm), and don't lug it, (too slow in a higher gear). After the first oil and filter change, progressively start reving it a bit higher until about 1000 miles then go for it. It really is hard to hurt one of these engines. The manual kinda explains it with kid shoes. (whatever that means.)
