Changing it up

Hey guys,

New to the forum just looking to learn more about this bike and what's been experienced owning it. I've had dirt bikes and quads in the past but I'm finally looking to take it to the pavement. I look forward to learning from your expertise and suggestions.

Hey good to see more interest in these bikes and welcome to the forum!
I love the bike, for me it was a somewhat new experience (coming from go karts, quads, and mopeds) the Z650 has made it easy to adapt to something with more power and grunt in my opinion. I love the style, ergonomics fit well for my size, easy for beginners to learn on.
I like it to the point to where I've slowly taken it over and my husband is looking for him a bike.
Thanks for warm welcome! Glad to see its a great bike to learn on and that it's worth stealing from your significant other aha. I really love it's styling and I think it is just the right amount of power for me to become accustom to. Are there any suggested modifications to make to it? Or have you (and your husband) kept it mostly stock?
Welcome to the forum.

Have you at least had the chance to sit on a Z650 as yet? Ergos are just about one of the most important things to confirm on any new bike, hopefully the Z650 is for you in that respect.
I haven't had the chance to sit on one just yet, but plan on taking one out as soon as the weather gets a little warmer. Couldn't agree more with how important comfort/riding position is on a bike and I have a feeling that the Z650 will be a good fit. As most of my riding has been in short spurts, off road, it'll be an interesting change to longer, smoother rides.
