Hi Guys,

I picked up my first bike last month and had a blast on it but it needs a nicer sound to it as it's getting drowned out by my old man's Norton!

It's got the full stock system on at the moment and I found on ebay a end can from Yoshimura for a great price but didn't do the research before to see if it could be a straight swap (Rookie I get it).

From the research I have done it looks like the exhaust won't be able to be welded to the existing pipe and I wouldn't have a clue on how to order and get the other parts for it.

What are your recommendations on how to move forward?

Based in the UK so don't really want to be order things from the USA with shipping costs high and long.

Thanks in advance!

Dang...hopefully someone experienced chimes in.

I was confused at first as I knew Yoshi never sold cans for the z650...I had to pony up and spend the premium for the Carbin fibre version.

I suppose depending on the pipe sizing differences, you could try and hit up a local weld shop to see if it is something they can work with?
Then again, I dont know how all of this will affect your exhaust scavenging ability and hopefully it doesnt impede it in a negative way.

Does the Titanium piece you have come with any of the stainless steel piping protruding from it or no?

I didnt get any notification of this pal my bad!
So in the end I would have had to buy all the other parts. The seller didn't mention he already had all of the manifold and set up for the slip on which I didn't.
Anyway I've bought the Scorpion z650 one and sounds beautiful!
Thanks for the reply

That sounds mean! I ended up going for a Scorpion in the end full system and that is great, sold the slip on to someone who has the set up for it.

Has anyone else bought a cheap Ebay Exhaust? Trying to go the cheapest route without having to tune my bike (2020 Z650). Any suggestions on a cheap exhaust system that wont require tuning?
I have a Danmoto I'd be willing to let go $80 plus shipping. It's too loud for my 40 yr old life. Here's a YouTube video I made a while ago.
