Hello i bought my kawa 2018 z650 with 8k Km, changed the oil on 9k august last year , then feb/2020 with 14k km.

yesterday going down the highway my engine just failed on me,doing a really bad noise
Tried to crank up, the bike cranked for a bit and then seized...
coolant was fine.
About 19 K km

I see metal shavings on the oil level marker and the oil looks low, i checked about 1 month ago.......

I live in brazil, my ensurance covers only theft and i have no warranties... Called the kawazaki dealer and the price only for the work hours was unspeakable
I am Doomed.

Man that's terrible. Hopefully you can find a mechanic who figure out what the problem was. Oil level fine?

Man that’s horrific.
Maybe something was wrong from the previous owner?
Depois que fiz minha segunda revisão, tive um vazamento de óleo pingando por baixo do motor. Aparentemente foi uma falha numa das juntas do motor. A autorizada trocou na garantia e foi só.
Eu percebi o defeito por uma mancha de óleo que começou a formar no chão da garagem em baixo da moto.
As vezes são coisas singelas que nos dão dicas importantes, você lembra de algo?

Where in Brazil are you?
I know of a good shop in Rio. Maybe they can help.
ps: forget the dealerships. I’ve had terrible experiences with them in Rio.
