I just tried to flip the shift lever, but the case right outside the front sprocket is getting in the way of the tie-rod. I can flip it if I remove that cover, but that leaves the chain on the front sprocket exposed.

Does anyone know if GP shift is even possible with the stock shifters?
Anyone know of any after market shifters for the z650?

Revzilla is usually my go to online store but it doesn't seem like they have a shifter for the z650, just aftermarket toe pieces.
