Welcome, should be nice this weekend to put some more miles on! Of course, depending on where you are! I put 66 miles on mine the first day riding mine home from the dealer I bought from. Rode there on my Indian Scout and came back with the Z. Still have a Piaggio BV350 for when I feel like a scooter ride.

Just have to watch out for the extra enforcement on the road since weekends like this (easter) has a lot of them, riders are easy targets to most cops on these roads

Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a Z650 (got CB500F now) and
would like to know what you think of the engine vibrations ?

Thanks,
Bearing in mind I have very limited experience with different bikes and their levels of vibration, I haven't noticed anything seemingly abnormal or uncomfortable up to 65mph, not sure beyond that!

I have noticed that there is a minor plasticy buzzing noise coming from somewhere in the front end when I get above 5000 rpm so may just have maintenance take a listen when I bring it in for the fender swap and see if it's something that can be prevented.

None yet, although it was delivered missing a left rear reflector (possibly from something that happened during delivery) so they're already going to swap out the entire rear fender. You have any suggestions?
Fender delete and possibly sliders are always a good start. I would wait a bit longer to see what exhaust systems come out and what they sound like. The IXIL system isn't out yet to my knowledge

Depending on mileage you have and how bad the vibrations are it might just be part of the break in process and will go away after then, but that's just my general answer. It gets much deeper than that once you look at the specifics. Just have to keep monitoring it yourself and asking question here + Kawi reps. Keep us posted.
