Hi everyone,


I'm Christof, a 37 year old IT Consultant who got tired of getting stuck in traffic. So I decided to learn to drive a motorcycle and bought myself a z650 for both driving from and to the office or customers and pleasure.

So I'm not really an experienced driver, but I will try to avoid using the car for work and drive my z650 as much as possible. I also want to perform basic tasks like changing oil, changing brake pads, ... myself with the help of Revzilla, my favorite motorcycle youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLQZTXj_AnL7fDC8sLrTGMw.

Welcome, I decided to get into motorcycle riding at 36 (last year) I had never riden a motorcycle but decided to take the class and soon after get this bike. I have learned a lot in the last year and a half. My suggestion is to purchase service manual, it is well worth the money, don't be afraid to work on it. The only thing I've paid the dealer is to install the tire on a rim (i removed the wheels from the rim) , and chain install because I don't have the chain tool.
