Whats up guys, I have a question for the forum. Anyone here do a handlebar swap yet? I understand we have a smaller diameter than 7/8 so i was wondering if i'd put a 7/8 handlebar on would the controls still fit. Stock handlebars a **** imo. Thanks

I think someone was looking into clip on risers, but it seems like nobody has outright switched out the bar.
Alternate handlebar / clip-on riser ?

After reading your post, I went out to the garage and measured the handlebar. I get 7/8”.

I fitted these Rox adjustable risers to my BMW.but looking at the Z there is very little room to fit risers as the clocks are only a couple of inches clear of the handlebar clamps,also the OEM bars are quite wouldn't be easy sourcing anything,but possibly Renthals.
