I think you are correct. I remember seeing one somewhere that was black with a green frame. Perhaps it's one of the 2018 color schemes. I suppose if one was so inclined to do so you could order the color of frame you want and do a swap. :grin2:

I'm going to have to sit down and see if it's worth it lol, how much would it be to powdercoat the stock one? Because at that point if you're going to go through all that work anyways, might as well get the frame done in the exact color you want and be a one-off?

A red or blue frame would look pretty cool. I agree, if I was going to recolor it, I would pick something other than green.

That would be really awesome! My last bike was a 2005 ZX6R 636 in Candy Plasma Blue. That would be an awesome color to paint the frame.

Even having stripes on the frame would do it for me, just in subtle ways that look like its some special color option from factory if you know what I mean. Lots of potential here if it gets into the hands of the right person.
