Hi everyone!

Picked up my Z650 Performance last weekend and hit 400 miles with a ride through the Peak District and the infamous Snake Pass.

List of future mods:
  • R&G Frame Sliders
  • LED sidelight and Headlight
  • Change mirrors - not sure what to though?
  • Remove rear foot pegs
  • Fender eliminator

That is a slightly larger OEM meter cover that is part of the modifications done to the Performance model that is available in the UK. That model also has the pillion seat cover, gel tank pad, and Akrapovic exhaust directly from the dealership.
Man, why is none of this cool stuff available in the US. I need to take a trip.

It's the Performance edition that comes with all the extras that HandsomeHooligan said above. I'm sure you can but them all from Kawasaki as aftermarket parts :smile2:

I was given the standard exhaust, windshield cover and pillion seat in a box when I picked the bike up, so if anyone needs a standard exhaust give me a shout!

I've looked on the accessories page for the Z650 in Canada (Where I'm from), the USA, and the UK. Both Canada and the US do not have any of those as accessories available unfortunately. The accessories page on the UK site however does. I'm contemplating ordering from that site and shipping it here. I really want to get the pannier bracket, but they are not available here. I even had the dealership where I bought my bike type in the OEM part number and the part comes up in the system, but it reads as not available.

Fitted a set of R&G Frame sliders and changed the side lights to LED's at the weekend :grin2:

Also went a long ride through North Wales and picked up this amazing keyring!

I'm really not a fan of the standard mirrors... Just look too big for the bike. The standard mirrors on the Z900 are much nicer!
Seen a couple of posts about bar-end mirrors - what are everyone's thoughts on them? Filtering traffic here is quite tight, so don't want anything to stick out further at the sides!

Will be buying and fitting the R&G tail tidy later this month, that should clean up the rear a bit :D
