I think I broke it.

Soooo I was working on loosening the axle nut. I was having a hard time removing. I finally got it to budge, however the threads moved as well. I noticed that the cotter pin hole is not on top anymore. A buddy said he uses two wrenches one on each side. Does that seem correct. Or did I break something.

Sometimes they can be stubborn and you will need a wrench for the other side as well. You can also try to loosen the alignment adjusters just a bit. Sometimes those can put extra pressure on the nut and bind it to the swing arm. You didn't break it.
So the "passenger side" nut is holding the threads?
Ok. Got it done. I feel like an idiot now that I see how it works. But at least it's knowledge. Thanks again Tremonte
