Installing mudguard after Tail Tidy?

3742 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  [email protected]
Im going to remove the original fender from the rear, however not sure how much mud will be stopped by the license plate? Im thinking to install a mudguard, but no specific model fund so far ... however the seller tells me, that it will fit to z650 ... im not convinced 100% ...

Any idea / recommendation? ... and / or experience driving in the rain with Tail Tidy ...

License plates generally aren't enough to keep the road spray off your bottom unless your country requires really large plates.
where are you riding that A. you have to worry and B. you cant clean it off?
riding daily (Thailand / Laos) .... dont wanna get cleaned after every 5 min ride :) ... but already ordered one set ... will see how is it ...

I've never had an experience with Tail Tidy, but it seems like a really useful, good-looking and easy to install detail. If you will decide to buy it, please keep us posted.

The Tail Tidy arrived, installed today. Easy, only the cord for the license plate is too short, so if you want to make it work, you have to extend it and get a proper connector ... i was worried about the new location of the turn-signs, but luckily fit with the factory panniers ...
