Just curious, how much is everyone paying for their insurance?

I have liability only covering bodily injury up to $50k and property up to $25k and uninsured motorist up to $25k. I'm paying $35/month. Is that high? I heard from some other people that they were only paying a few bucks a month. But I also just realized that if i got rid of the uninsured coverage, that cuts my cost down more than 1/2

I wish my insurance was $35/month. I'm from BC, Canada, and in this province it is the law that we have to pay for insurance coverage from the provincial crown corporation, ICBC. Due to many factors, such as their poor budgeting, outrageous accident payouts, and no room for competition, the rates they charge are crazy.

Part of the reason I went with the Z650 was it kept me in the 400-750cc bracket which was considerably cheaper than the next tier. I end up paying just over $150/month for my insurance, and that is with a 40% discount from years of accident/claims free driving.
