Hi guys! Can anyone confirm whether this is actually the 2018 model? (https://www.atvrom.ro/motociclete/kawasaki-z650-2018) My friend says its not but the sales representative claims that it is. I've been burned before and I want to take all precautions before going any further with this dealer.

The 2018 model was released in a yellow and a black/green colour, so yes that looks like the 2018 model. AFAIK there were no other changes.

2018 has the gloss black front fender..............2017 has a front fender that matches the tank/tail color.

Now that being said, it maybe different overseas.........but here in North America (Canada) my 2018 candy lime green model has the gloss black front fender.

It is the 2018 colour,but mine is classed as 2018 but came out in 2017,(matt black with green frame)

Easiest way to confirm would be to take note of the vin and look it up in a database. Also just for reference the 10th letter/number refers to the model year of the vehicle.

Those are the colour scheme for 2018 for Canada. Other countries may have different variation of the same colours.

Alternatively, you can check for the year by the VIN number stamped below the handlebar on the bike. The tenth digit represent the year. In this case H=2017 and J=2018.
