Hey everyone!

Is anyone else throttle on/off jerky?

For me it’s really bad at low rev ranges and low gears, but still noticeable at higher rev ranges and higher gears.

Is there a way I can smooth this out? It’s nearly bucked me off in a couple corners now

Cheers
Josh

I am having the same issue. I only have a little over 1000miles on mine and for a while thought it was just my wrist twisting the throttle too much in either direction. But starting a couple days ago the engine died. Then on my way to work today it died again. It will restart but it's more than a little unsettling to have the engine die in the middle of rush hour traffic. I'm taking it to the dealer after work. It does not replicate easily so I am hoping there is an engine code or something the mechanic can pull from the computer(s).

It would be nice if someone said something about this. I don’t spend a lot of time in 2nd, but went on the dragon today and holy shit is it jerky. I’m going to check my throttle for too much play. I think mostly it just is what it is.

Pretty sure the jerky feeling is just these bikes. I've seen numerous video reviews that describe this same jerky feeling at low speeds. My Z does the same thing. I've heard about how tuning them can smooth up the throttle at these low speeds.

My throttle was jerky a couple days ago to the point that it was not rideable anymore
the Kawasaki mechanic took my bike apart and ran diagnostics and the Throttle Assembly is broken, that thing is expensive as hell
