Hi All,
I’m new here, and I didn’t have introduced me yet. My name is Marcel and I’m in the marker for an new bike since I sold my Bandit 650. Looking for an lightweight bike. I always said that I want an Street triple, but now the time is here to buy one, I’m in doubt because the Z650 sounds also as an bike for pure fun. Hopefully I can find some answers here.
First I like to know how great of leanangle is possible with the stock rearset. I like to do track days, and with my CBR600F2 I was never an problem, but the riding possition was killing. I now that with an street triple you can put the rearset of an daytone to increase the height. Is there an option for the Z650 to make it higher? Or is there an to great risk of hitting other parts first? Realy like to know the track experiance of someone here.
Hopefully you can help me to decide. It’s choosing between an fairly used/new Z650 or and 2010/2011 non ABS street triple.
Thanks!
