Just doing a check in; 54 year old sport rider from North Alabama. Will be picking up a new '17 Z650 next week. Looking to do a few minor mods to the bike; bike will be mainly rode by my wife so whatever she needs to be comfortable on the bike and a little personalizing. Thanks in advance for any and all info,

It's always great to see folks of your age range still interested in sporty bikes like the Z650, often its nothing more than cruisers.

How much did you pay out the door for your Z? Looking forward to delivery day

Welcome to the forum. Did you wife get some seat time on the bike to see if any adjustment's need to be made to the seat heat? Bet she's eager for the next riding season.

Battle Creek Powersports in Jasper, Tennessee was closing out their leftover '17s; it was $5995.00 out the door, no fees & before tax.

We put in a Soupys lowering link last night when we got the bike home so now she can flat foot with a slight bend in the knee; right at 1 inch is our drop at the rear and slid the forks up 1/2 inch. Perfect fit for her. Hopefully get a little riding time in today and maybe some pics this evening....
