Just picked up a 2017 Z650 in White from Town and Country Cycles in Hamburg NJ. Haven’t even put a mile on the odometer yet. Probably won’t have the bike registered for another week or two. But I know I’m going to love it.
Had a 2007 Njnja 650R and then moved up to an Aprilia Tuono 1000. The Ninja was way more fun as I could care less about the highway and the Aprilia was just like trying to hang onto a fireball on backroads.
Only complaint I ever had about the Ninja was that it was sluggish with a passenger. But now that it’s dropped 40-50 pounds it should be better.
Tomorrow ordering Akra exhaust, Pirelli Angel GT tires, Rhino bar ends, Tremontes mirrors, probably the extended seat may wait on that to see if I need it (6 feet tall) and color matching levers and kickstand foot.
