Hi All,
I'm new to posting on the forum. Recently traded up to a new Z650 from a KTM Duke 125 3 or 4 weeks ago after passing my Mod 2. Have covered 350 miles so far on the Z & really liking the bike & the extra power over the duke!
No modifications yet, but some bar end mirrors & Kawasaki green rim tape are being sought out & maybe a screen if I can find one I like!

Hey Dangerouse1984.DM
Your new bike looks awesome! hope its worth the trade
I am thinking of getting a bike too and I like the idea of adding some colour to it. Do you know any online store where you can get those rim tapes?

I found this store -https://www.customtaylor33.com/shop/limegreen-high-intensity-rim-tape/
But not sure if their stuff is good.
Hello, new member here. I've had two SV650s in the past and currently ride a Honda. Looking to buy a new SV, FZ-07 or Z650.

Hoping to learn something and perhaps even add to the conversation a bit. No expert, but been riding for 20 years...but never owned a Kawasaki. Maybe it's time?

Thanks,
Steve
Is that the 17 or 18 model mine is the 17 with charcoal frame color does the 18 come in the green?
It's a pre-registered 18 Model. And yes the 18 model comes with the green frame, which is a nice injection of colour!!

I've had their rim tape on my last bike, I think they use the same reflective material that's used on traffic signs

they have an amazon store

I couldn't find a better rim tape back then when I did my research

I believe that sort of thing is standardized unless its a case of someone buying tape from some no name brand in China which wouldn't follow any standardization. You can always try testing it i guess if you are that curious.
I am also using the Custom Taylor 33 rim tape. Very durable and quality. It is a little more of an investment but I feel it is worth it. Here is a picture of my bike with the rim tape. I had the flash on so you could see the glow

Thanks for the info, exactly the sort of extra visibility i wanted to add. I'll need to check to see if they'll deliver to the UK, if not find a UK / Euro based supplier. Definatly going to go with Kawasaki Green to match the frame!!

I bought the pro grip rim tape(red) from Revzilla before I bought the custom Taylor one(black)

the black one from custom Taylor was significantly brighter than the red one from pro grip...
