Finally got a new tank bag and top case. So glad to have some storage and on my way to having enough room for some quick weekend trips!

That would be nice for a quick trip. I’m considering ditching the backpack for some small luggage. Is the case lockable?

Yes, lockable and removable in a flash. It really has been great just to have a place to keep my helmet at least and now I don't have to think too much about what I am doing before I head out because I always have some room.

Interesting - if that case is big enough to fit a helmet, that definitely helps especially when it comes to taking short trips around the city.

Funny! I have the exact same Shad SH40 installed behind my Z650! Really handy.
It'll fit a full face helmet with enough room to squeeze a tightly folded jacket inside. Great for a quick stop at the groceries too.
I've ridden with it in some crosswind conditions, It does feel a little weird in high speed windy circumstances.
Love it to bits still! I had it on my old bike and kept it to install in the z650 when I bought it!
Best investment ever!
