Thank you, appreciate the feedback. That’s good news. I do not feel that my z650L has a jerky throttle,may be I got used to it. I will inquire about the booster plugs though. My experience is, the bike does not want to rev beyond 4.5K.
It’s quite smooth at low revs but beyond 4.5 k feels harsh and vibey. I’m hoping that derestricting will make it smoother as it will rev more freely.

Did that booster plug make a difference? My throttle is super twitchy and I find I have to ride the clutch a lot around town to avoid the jerky acceleration.
As I mentioned, it doesn’t eliminate the ‘snatch’ but it improved it for about 50%, which is still significant and makes my riding experience much better. At least that’s my take on it. I’ve read others (on other model bikes) who claim it’s a gimmick, but I would disagree. I feel I definitely got fair value for the money. There is a bit of spanner work involved with fitting, but it’s relatively straight forward. I also am fastidious in keep records of my fuel usage and haven’t noticed any difference since fitting the device.
