Just curious what oil change interval people use -- after break-in, that is. For my first post-break-in oil change, I went 2,000 miles. That's much less than the manual's schedule, but I always change oil more frequently than recommended. My bike consumes zero oil in 2,000 miles, which is nice. Your thoughts?

Seems like a good idea as preventative maintenance, I usually just stick to the recommended intervals.

Same.
I end up riding around 5000 kms every year...and I've been using this oil since day 1:

Pretty sure I can run it to around 10,000 kms but I dont like leaving old oil in the pan during winter storage.
