Overheating as in running hot or is the engine fully shutting down? The bike should be able to handle a wash.

Hi, I own kawasaki z650 since a year now. I had no issues with the bike till today. But ever since I had my bike washed today,my bike have started overheating. What can be the reason here?. Is my bike's engine in danger?

If and that`s "if" its overheating then make sure the fan is cutting in. Did you use a pressure washer you may have dislodged some wiring or got water into the fuse box and shorted the fuse maybe. Highly unlikely as that might be I don`t see that a normal wash would give a problem.Check if the radiator cooling fan comes on when the bike gets hot.
