I got my bike today, love it. However I can’t remove the service icon off the TFT screen. It’s just been serviced but I note that, in yellow writing in the menu it mentions 2021 for a service? Does the bike still think the service is overdue?
any ideas on how to get rid or do I have to make do until the next service in around 10 months time?

I have a 2017, so I don't have the TFT dash with the service indicator, but this looks like you can reset it in the dash menus: First request - 2021 Z650 service indicator

If you can't, my guess is the service guys forgot to reset the service interval.

Hello in the north of wales!

you have two service menus in your TFT;
one you can choose as the driver if you read the
650manual and one for the kawasaki dealer!
The driver mode you can switch off, the dealer mode
is only to reset from the dealer! But only the dealer can
switch off the complete servicemenu for the dealermode!

this will connect to just about all bikes providing you have the correct cable - even Ducati 👍👍👍

My service light just went out itself once I was 50 miles over the due service. I got mine serviced but was 75 miles over. I have 2022 z650.
