I did my 600 mile break-in oil change the other day, and ever since, I've noticed my shifts seem smoother and less clunky.
I assume it's the different oil. I went with Mobil 1 10W-40 and a K&N filter.
Not sure what they used at the dealer, but I'm guessing Kawasaki.
Glad I went with the K&N too, since I didn't really have enough room to get the filter tight enough by hand (usually go about 3/4 turn once the seal touches metal), and the K&N has the welded nut on the end.
