Hey Z650 fam,

I'd like to get a more responsive feel from the brakes. I've been thinking about upgrading the stock brake lines to stainless steel braided brake lines but haven't been able to find a 2017 Z650 specific kit. Any recommendations on brands or kits?

Never changed out brakes lines before, but new brake pads can make a world of difference.

HEL performance do them but not cheap

As mentioned above Hel performance offers braided lines, not sure if they are specific to the 2017 however. Kawasaki Z650 B1 (1977-). For finding something model specific, you might be better off going the brake pad route.
