Until a week ago, I was a dedicated Honda owner. 12 Hondas.

When it comes to oil, Honda was very specific. For the last few, it was 10W30. Period. End of story.

I'm thumbing through my Z650 manual, and WHOA! Choices. I'm not used to making viscosity choices.

I live in Tucson, Arizona, and it is currently 3 degrees colder than the surface of the sun. I'm thinking about 10W40 for my first oil change.

What are you opinions? Kawasaki has given me too many options!

20W50 is the elixir you seek in this time of the year, when the oven is set to Broil...

Hallo Brian, original for the RS is 10W40 for the engine. I change to 15W50 because this better for the gearbox. Only us a motoroil for motorcycles with the norm called JASTO 2.
