Over the years I have owned 12 new bikes, as you can see they do vary in type and power. The truth of the matter is that I have enjoyed riding different types apart from supersports where the forward position has never appealed to me. I am hoping the new Z650 will tick all the boxes. I was looking for lightweight, not too large, reasonable running costs and practicality. I found the Z1000 over powering, although I enjoyed winding her up, 150mph appeared far to quickly (on private roads you understand) . The Z650 looks a fantastic bike and hopefully fits my current needs, so time will tell.

Chose the Z650 because it seems like a good middle of the road bike. It hasn't disappointed me so far!

I really liked the Vulcan S, but due to lower back pain I sold it and bought the Z650 for the upright riding position. Of course, it's hard to compare a naked bike to a cruiser, the riding position and feel is totally different.
As long as my back wasn't troubling me, it was a comfortable ride, not to heavy, pretty fast (basically same engine as the Z650), light steering, looks, ... Loved it!

The Vulcan S is an extremely gorgeous bike! Not my style but darn.. it looks good.

Surprisingly enough people liked them more than comparable harleys which says a lot fora ll that harley has tried to establish. That might be why they're taking a major different approach in who they're targeting from what it seems
