Guys, does anyone have access to a workshop manual for the Z650 2020?
Specifically front forks, I want to know the special tool required to remove the damper rod.
Thanks

Its a pretty basic fork, only an Allen bolt at the bottom. Probably best to loosen this before taking the spring out. There is an online service manual available for the 2019 model, forks are the same.

Thanks Graham, the bottom bolt is being difficult to remove without impact wrench, I just wanted to know if there is a special tool to engage in the top of the damper rod to hold it from moving.
I downloaded the manual that our friend uploaded but the diagram in the manual showing the damping rod tool but it looks different from some tools suggested on other social media.
Anyhow, I will see how it goes with the impact and let you know.
By the way, I'm drilling the damper rod holes out to let the YSS valves do the damping. The roads here in the Philippines can be teeth chattering lol
Thanks again.

A decent impact wrench will whip the bolt out in seconds, some of the fleabay ones won't shift it. In the past I have taken the fork to a local tyre place, they usually have good air guns.
Well, I got an impact today but I take your point about the tyre place....great idea if I get nowhere with the impact wrench I got.
Keep you informed mate.
Thanks for getting back 👍👍

Sorted my front shocks, more 8 mm holes and YSS valves did the trick, , a lot less chatter now.
