Hello, My Z650 2019 makes this ticking noise while idle and rattling noise while i'm riding especially between 4000 - 5000 rpm. I'm a 100 percent sure it's the cam chain tensioner that needs to be adjusted. i went to the dealership 3 times and he told me this is normal and is fine and wont look at it. It annoys the hell out of me. I read about resetting the CCT but i don't know how to do that. i also read about manual cam chain tensioners but i can't find one for my bike. Are there any other riders that have this problem too? Does anyone here can give me some input?

That sounds odd!
Are you able to post a video?

What makes you think its the cam chain tensioner?
Does the ticking vary as you increase or decrease throttle while in that RPM range?
Any misfires?
How many kms are you at now? I'd imagine something like this would've been caught when you did your valve clearance check..no?
