Just fitted a black widow to mine stainless headers and powder coted muffler looks and sounds great £299.

Any chance you can share photos of your headers and the exhaust in the rear? I installed mine last May and I have it almost touching the tire. My headers also discoloured and have spots that look like rust. Black widow says it's normal lol. I mean when I got the package they didn't even label the pipes correctly so installing it was a pain and I feel like the exhaust is rubbing against the tire. I can't fit a piece of tissue inbetween lol.

My Can sits around 1/2" from the tyre when the suspension is fully extended so no probs there. Mine discoloured quite quickly and gets spots. You have to remember these run very lean, I`m looking at getting a dyno set up before long so should not see any more of a significant discolouration of the pipes, otherwise I`m pleased with them. I did see a used set on ebay that fits the description you outline and have seen at least one other similar. If I get chance I`ll do some pics but seems like normal to me.

Ps Did you set the exhaust systems position before you tightened the headers? when the bikes suspension is not under load it`s within a hairs breath of fully extended so when you load it or "sit on it" the gap between the exhaust and tyre should extend (get bigger).
