So has anyone managed to adjust preload? I took the cover off to have a look and it looks like it would be really easy to damage the wires that sit in the way.

I have thought about it, but don't really know what necessitate the need to adjust it. Anyone know what the factory preload is? I am 150 lbs and the ride seems good to me.
There's some info on this thread. Im 220 and it helped a lot to stiffen it up. At 150 you might be good at factory setting. But why not test out different settings to see wich you like best.
